“We only have what we give.” ― Isabel Allende
When I was a kid (just a few years ago), I grew up in a Kibbutz and every year there was a big folk festival named "Jacob's Ladder" organised by some enthusiastic Kibbutz members. I remember we were all waiting for the "not to be missed" Paul Moore - a one man band with his one man homemade instruments "orchestra" - from a bike horn to a washboard, entertaining everybody. After so many years the father of a friend told me about this man with the washboard playing here in Edinburgh and I realised I managed to miss the "not to be missed" Paul. So 5% of our profits go to this wonderful and important project run by "not to be missed" Paul Moore and Daphna Orion called Ukuleles for Peace which teams up children from Arab and Israeli schools to learn and perform together. Here is a short fun video explaining and showing what the project is all about.
* we also encourage our artists to donate to their preferred charity.
